To reorder checks, you will need your routing/transit number, account number, and the starting number of your next check. Check orders will be sent to the mailing address on your account and a charge for the order will appear on your account. If there are any changes to your check order, if it has been longer than 2 years since your last check order, or if this is the first time you are ordering checks with North Salem State Bank, please visit one of our North Salem State Bank offices to complete your order. NOTE: If you receive your checks for free from NSSB, please visit one of our locations to reorder your checks as Deluxe will charge your account if you order your checks online.
Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit - Don't worry about having to go to one of our branches to deposit your check. Have your Payroll or Government check directly deposited into your account.
Overdraft Protection

Overdraft protection means that we’ve approved, in advance, a personal, unsecured loan to balance your account if you should overdraw. Sweep Overdraft Option
You can sweep funds from your savings account into an NSSB checking account to cover your overdraft. A $1.00 sweep charge does apply each time the service is used.

Safe Deposit & Security Boxes
Safe Deposit Boxes are available at the North Salem, Danville and Waveland Offices. Security Boxes are available at the Greencastle Office. Please stop in any of these offices for more information.

You can update your address and phone number at any of our locations or by printing out a Change of Address form and mailing it to North Salem State Bank, P.O. Box 97, North Salem, IN 46165.
